Automotive

With 3D Printers Canada, you can completely customize your ride. We have helped clients in the past print rim prototypes, wheel prototypes (and a combination of both, in one print, using our Objet Connex500) in the past. Anything we construct is ready to use immediately after print including knobs, dials, springs, steering wheels, axels and, of course, wheels!

At 3D Printers Canada, we use the highest quality materials to give you confidence every step of the way in your invention design and production. We even offer “overmoulding” to customers. This process allows any inventor to combine two materials (using our state-of-the-art Objet Connex 500 3D laser printer) in a single print. Any print job can be completed in one print – with moving parts, spinning wheels, snap-on parts, etc. along with multiple materials and surface finishes.

Toys

Using Objet’s industry leading 3D printing technologies, toy car and slot car fanatics from around the globe have come to us to help them create or re-create their own detailed, high resolution - to within 16 microns 3D prototype toy and slot cars. We can scale your original model (perhaps, your favourite car) to any size within our printer’s (20”x16”x8”) dimensions.

If it’s simply a toy car frame, snap-on wheels, or precise small parts 3D Printers Canada offers any and all 3D toy engineering solutions. We can help you modify and design your model using superior 3D prototyping software. Using CAD and STL files, we can edit any model quickly and cost efficiently.

Any toy that is printed on a Connex Printer is immediately ready to use even if there are moving parts like a steering wheel, axels, wheels, etc; all in one easy step. We can help mobilize your figurines and with living hinges, we can make any toy flexible.  more >

Educational

3D prototypes are a teacher’s best friend! You can recreate a stand of DNA so students can hold and visualize it better, can create holograms to illustrate an important historical event, create and recreate a famous sculpture from ancient Rome, design new art models and even complex architectural designs. Any way you cut it, 3D printing is helping students find creative answers to problems!

More and more schools are adopting 3D printers to expand their creative horizons. “(3D Printers) definitely saved my students and me time, but most of all, it allowed us to do something that would have been otherwise impossible to produce poseable action figures cost effectively, without the use of a service bureau and the associated lag time and production costs," said Spencer Barnes, adjunct assistant professor of ID at North Carolina State University.  more >

Dental

With its industry leading capabilities, 3D Printers Canada can accommodate your every 3D printing need by printing both flexible and rigid materials at the same time, in the same product. In the dental industry, models of teeth and jaw lines are accurately reproduced to create life-sized, accurate (within 16 microns) replicas that are used as surgical guidelines. Crowns, fillings, or any other dental aspects can be recreated and printed in any model.

“Choosing the right equipment to get the best return on investment is not trivial,” explains Avi Cohen, Head of Medical Solutions at Objet. “Objet enables dental practitioners to reap the maximum benefits from the digital dentistry era, which is exactly what we’ll be demonstrating at the International Expo Dental Rome.”

Medical

In preparation for surgeries and other medical procedures, replicated 3D organs are the perfect models to train on. With Objet’s Connex 500, you are able to print more than one material at a time, to create the most realistic model (in this case organ) possible.

With the ability to contain organ duplications and see through the outer layers to nerves, blood vessels and bones, medical experts have a tremendous decision-making tool  at their fingertips that can dramatically increase the chances of success on an operating table.  more >

These are just some of the industries we can help. The only limitation to 3D printing is your own imagination. If you can think it, we can print it.
